Our next stop is Omena Michigan for our annual family gathering, then to
Reese/Frankenmuth Michigan stop see friends and family, then to Bellvue Ohio to
see friends, then our last official stop is in Sharpsburg Georgia to see my
parents. The plan is to be home by July 31.
It has been a fabulous trip . . . and the family is still on
speaking terms!
Attached you will find pictures from Glacier. It is by far
the most striking park we went to, but we still don’t really have a favorite.
They are all so diverse and glorious in their own rites. We definitely have a
greater appreciation for our National Parks and have certainly enjoyed our time
hiking and being in nature. We have seen Elk, Mule Deer, Snow Rabbits, Mountain
Goats, Rams, and one Black Bear; all in their natural habitat. We also hiked in
the snow . . . and Shane got the chance to put a snow ball down the back of
Dani’s shirt ;-) IN JULY!!!

We’ve spent the day at San Francisco.
We put our toes in the Pacific Ocean. (Burrrr
cold!)
We toured a bit of wine country.
And . . played in the pool, gone bike riding, sat by the
campfire, joined movie night at the camp ground, drove along the Russian River .
. .
There is lots to see and do . . . . and we are doing as much as we can and having fun!

We are now in Petaluma CA. It’s been a trip of ups and downs . . . think mountains ;-)
We were out of range for a bit and we’ve been doing a lot of site seeing. Yosemite is quite awesome. San Diego Zoo is quite cool too.We are on our way to San Francisco tomorrow, then after church on Sunday we are planning on finding the beach and the Redwoods.

We made it to CA today. Get this, our generator decided it
was going to quit, so we had only dash AC (which is not much, and does not cool
past the drivers seat) as we drove through the Mojave Desert. I was one toasted
individual by the time we arrived at our stop for the evening!
Hope all is well with you all too J. Any threats of hurricanes yet?
